There dozens and dozens of threads on this. A simple search on XPEL, SunTek, PPF, or any similar term will give you hours and hours and hours of reading opinions all over the map.

BUT depends on your area... I live in NE USA (Virginia/Maryland... Lots of pot holes, salt, rocks, etc..... Absolutely needed... If I lived in Florida I would have skipped it because the roads are generally so good.
My 2017 GS in Full Xpel Ultimate minus rear hatch and end.

If I lived in Florida I would have skipped it
And lucky is the traveler on I95 between Florida and the rest of the states who doesn't catch a rock on their journey.
OTOH, leave the film on for a decade and hope you put it on a yellow car.

I think on some cars it may be difficult to tell, but ask me in 10 years.
The other thing, my bet is most people on this forum won't own the car in 10 years :-)
