I have a 2016 base C7 with about 3k miles. I've noticing a "clunk" type noise when I release my clutch during low gear shifts. It is especially noticeable when I am coming to a stop and taking it out of gear. The noise appears towards the top of the clutch travel.
I will be taking it in to have it checked out, but would appreciate any thoughts or similar experiences before I do.
I am on my second C7 with a manual transmission, neither clutch ever made any noise. The 2014 needed the fluid changed at 4,000 miles (pressure plate engagement was ruff/chattered smoothed out with new fluid).
No other symptoms. I do find the clutch a little challenging when starting from stand still - could be operator error, but I've been driving manuals for 35+ years (though this is my first corvette)

I know this is an old thread but did you ever find out if this was normal? I have a '17 Z51 that does the same thing...
