If you are willing to travel the 17s can be found over 20% off from a couple of the forums big dealers. I got close to 25% off my 2016 1LT last October with no loyalty discount. Kerbeck gave me a call and said they had 3 cars meeting the specs I had asked about so I pulled the trigger on the black M7 for 45K

Excellent deal on an awesome looking C7...well done! Just joined the NC Farm Bureau myself.
I don't know where people are seeing 25% off, even 20% off is pretty rare and requires a heavily loaded Z07.
Five months ago I purchased a 2016 Twilight Blue Design Edition 3LT convertible...MSRP $80,200 for $61,000. Found the car in PA. That's a 24% discount all day everyday no matter how you do the math. They are out there.
I am also in the market. What I am finding is that most of the left over 2016 cars are either fully loaded or close to it. They might take 20% off of the car but that still puts the price in the high 50's to low 60's price range. The 2017 discounts on the Grand Sport 1LT is in the same ball park. Now I'm asking myself new Grand Sport or 2016 loaded out Corvette. I'm thinking Grand Sport even if it is a 1LT. That car still comes with a load of options.
Does anyone know of any dealers willing to really deal on a leftover 16. I have heard on here of people getting 24% off, even without the loyalty $2k. I have tried local dealers and they basically laugh when I offer even 20% off. Looking up to 1500 miles from Florida. Thanks
Just bought one on Saturday. 2016 2LT Z51. 26% off list including all rebates. Also 0% financing, with a $ 4000 discount being part of all discounts. $500 down payment.

Everything you've said makes sense. However, if you think that you'll only have the car for a couple of years just remember that a 2017 1LT take a larger percent drop in value than a 16 3LT car...given of course that they were purchased at deep discounts. Keep in mind that it's easier to sell a 3LT car most of the time. You would have more to enjoy for a smaller hit. There's nothing like a loaded up C7, just sayin... Good luck to you - what ever you buy!

How do you determine how long a car has been sitting on the lot?
is was easy for me - I looked at my new car on the lot every week sence last July , I just couldn't trade a 2016 z51 (9 months old) for a zo6 2016 !!!! Then march 14 when I was pricing a 2018 GS (460 hp again) the salesman told me ( long story short ) I could have the 2016 zo6 for the same money as 2018 GS and be driving the zo6 today!!! Anyway to answer your question - look at inside edge of drivers door your build date will be there on tire pressure sticker than will tell you about how long car has been on lot . Just remember it takes up to two months to get to dealer lot sometimes
Hey savage, I want to get a Z06, but I am having a really hard time parting with the GS I have had for 8 mos. Tell me why the Z06 is worth it to you? What trans did you get?
Sticker $71560 no trade out the door 61k no money down except rebates no loyalty 0% for 72 months. Texas dealer other dealers around here said they couldn't get there. They do have a 2016 2LT Z-51 Laguna Blue they would like to get rid of I believe. My car was $56700 I think taxes killed me.
