Does anyone know of any dealers willing to really deal on a leftover 16. I have heard on here of people getting 24% off, even without the loyalty $2k. I have tried local dealers and they basically laugh when I offer even 20% off. Looking up to 1500 miles from Florida. Thanks

Not letting the forum know your general location does not help. Also suggest you check the dealer inventory section. You may find one of our forum dealers has what you are looking for. Another source would be the regional forum for your area. There may be members on it that can give you some leads.
It's still there and been on the lot for 200+ days. Cargurus will tell you how long they have been sitting.
I do think Chevy is offering less incentives in April than in the previous months so 25%+ might be hard right now. But the 2018's are getting built in June so those 2016's are going to be two model years old... So dealers might get desperate..

2016 Z51 2LT, 7 speed, MSRC, NAV/PDR. List $72,530, paid $56,500 plus tax title license. I had a $500 rebate for the Ohio Farm Bureau (costs $25 to join), no Loyalty or other rebates.
The problem is GM is doing little to help the dealers other than the 0% financing. Tell the dealers you know there is a 270 day inventory of Corvettes nationally, and the particular 'unit' you're interested in has been on their lot for (plug in your number, it'll be 400 to 500 or more days). Tell them you'll take a "distressed" unit off their hands before they pay another month's interest. I had one GM tell me I was miles ahead by calling him rather than emailing. I did all of that and got the deal I wanted. I was going to pay at least half down, but with 72 month 0%, that seemed stupid. I put 7K down. Maybe there will be some factory assistance for May, which will help.
i got my 2016 leftover zo6 one month ago, i seen this car at mylocal dealer last last fall( 2016) for 24% off sticker. long story short march 14th when i was ready to buy the best i could do was 20% off with the loyalty included !! i priced the 2017 but the best i could do was up to 12% off and wait for the car. so i saved the extra 8k on the 100k car and im driving now not waiting.its corvette buying season now and 2016;s will all be sold out when the factory closes down for three months this summer- wait and watch the discounts when the factory is down and you will find none !!
Dont value the "deal" more than chosing the car. There is a reason some dealers have 2016's in stock and that is usually because they couldnt sell due to weird color choices and or other options. These same reasons could make it just as difficult, maybe even more so to sell it again used.
If you find the right car, go for it. But dont buy it just because you got a great deal or you will regret it.
I bought a leftover 2016 for 20% off and 0% a few weeks ago.
When I offered 25% to the salesman, a guy came over that said he was with GM corporate (not the dealer) and said they would do 20% and 0% and that was it. The car I wanted was a base 1LT, so there probably isn't as much discount available. I also had a "top off" on my GM card, so I got the car for a rather low price.
Word to the wise--I was a dumbass and didn't notice until after I had signed everything. The sleazy finance guy added $250 in "fees" and actually only gave me 60 months instead of the 72 as promised by the GM guy.
Connect with a Forum Vendor Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City FL. Ask for Paul. 7th largest Vette dealer in country.....they're good.
I spoke to Stingray a couple of weeks ago, they are ten minutes from my house. I gave them Macmulkins price on a 17 and they basically told me to go buy from them. They were not interested in even trying to compete.
I bought my '16 March 29th, got 20% off plus loyalty of 2K, and GM card pts. worth 2.5K, and 1K for financing. Traded a '13 SRX and my 91 vert Vette. My Stingray is a 2016 2LT w/ mag ride PDR, NPP, rear spoiler, 19/20" chrome wheels. Had an MSRP of 69.5K. Black w/gray interior. Dont have any good pics yet. Still like winter here! 37* today.

How do you determine how long a car has been sitting on the lot?
