Carbon 65 C7
Hey Guys,
Im a member of the Allentown Area Corvette Club. Im a C5 and C4 owner, but today at our Car Show, we had on display the CARBON 65 C7. Chevy is making only 650 of these. Very nice looking up close. Not sure if Im a fan of that faint blue color, but the carbon and dark blue on everything else was really hot!
Just wanted to share a picture for those that may not have ever seen it!

paint is fine. I don't love or hate it. The "Carbon 65" on the side and painters tape on the fender are stupid. I don't get the blue top, but all soft top verts look rough with the top up anyway.
If they really wanted to do something cool, actually make it 650hp. Make the splitter blue or something if they're hell bent on blue.

^^^ Typical GM "Collector Edition" hype that is nothing but paint.
At least put a race style front splitter and wider side skirts on it or something Crank up the boost. Make the fenders carbon and do exposed hash marks. At least make the wheel spats carbon. Or paint them. $80k car with unpainted plastic? Make carbon wheels. Do something other than afterthought paint.

except for this comment "but all soft top verts look rough with the top up anyway", to each is his own and I think the Vert. looks good up or down.

The Vert Does looks just as good with top up or down and in my own opinion with the top up it still looks better than a coupe. JMHO !

Our Club sponsor is Faulkner Chevrolet - and they brought it so display because they got one in to sell...cause not every dealership is getting one since only 650 are being made.
Chevrolet is commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Corvette with a new Corvette Carbon 65 Edition offered on 2018 Grand Sport and Z06 models. Limited to only 650 vehicles — with 30 units coming to the Middle East — the distinctive Carbon 65 blends visible carbon-fiber exterior elements with a new Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior color. Other interior appointments include a new carbon-fiber rimmed steering wheel. The new Carbon 65 Edition will honor the Corvette legacy while offering customers a unique, special-edition model that personalizes the ownership experience.
