Default Rock Tires ...

I have 2 sets of wheels and tires.
One set wheels with 19-20 PSS Z51 tires and one set with Older version Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZP tires on 18-19 wheels.
The A/S setup is for cold weather Spring and Fall.
But also to have a spare wheel/tire setup if something happens to the other setup.
Zero down time.
But as much as I like the PSS tires, I've had enough of rocks flying everywhere, and all over the car, top and bottom.
Especially this time of year with left over winter sand and rocks everywhere.
Planned on getting a set of Michelin A/S 3+ZP when the PSS tires wear down.
At this point I don't think I'll be waiting for the PSS tires to wear out.
Just my 2 cents for what it's worth
Some rocks in the pics where in so deep, had to remove them with pliers
This is from driving main roads and not a logging trail

A definite down side to super sticky tires.

I don't think you'll be disappointed at all going w/ the AS3+ ZP full-time. Unless you're going 9/10ths or greater in hot temps, you probably won't even notice the difference.

I'm running them, and even though it's getting hot now, I'm dragging my feet about putting my PSS set back on. They are damned good in warm temps too.

only reason I held off is the PSS's still have a lot of life left.
As for running the A/S 3+ZP full time, that's why I want them
Even the old style Michelin A/S I have now are great and I know the new A/S 3+ZP can only be better.
Had a set of the old style Michelin A/S for 25,000 miles on my C6.
Except for the age after 7 years, they were almost like new.
Hope all is well

Another thought! From your Avatar pic does not look like you have side skirts.

This was my experience with my 2014 Z51 and what I just did for my new Grand Sport:

I installed GM splash guards as soon as I got my 2014 Z51. Not much help stopping debris from marking the GM plastic protection. GM knew where the problem was and put the plastic there-from the middle of the door back up the front of the rear wheel wells!

Near my home a gravel road intersects with our narrow twisty road and pebbles carry over to our paved road. Could hear the pebbles hitting the bottom of those side skirts! After 6 months I removed the discolored GM plastic. When I sold the car a month ago the rocker panels looked new!

For my new Grand Sport ordered it with full skirts Areo 2 package. From poster suggestions also ordered and installed ASC front splash guards that are wider and deeper than the GM splash guards. Installed the GM rear splash guards. I can hear those pebbles hitting the bottom of the side skirts but have not seen any marks so far.

In addition to whatever tires consider side skirts.

During the tech talk session at Spring Mountain they explained how extremely fragile the Z07 carbon fiber rotors are to stone chips. Even the smallest chip can cause them to explode under high braking heat. While the CF rotors weight 1/3 that of regular and work far better, they urged caution in checking them after stone hits. If you put the car in the gravel (like when a car goes off track), they immediately have these inspected to avoid the huge damage caused by the CF rotor exploding.
