Google Maps

Can you plan a route in Google maps on a computer and transfer it to the 2016 built in navigation? I searched the forum for this and didn't find anything.

Do it on your phone and use Android Auto or Apple Car Play

Just remember you need a signal for it to work, if you are on the expressway you'll be ok.

No you don't really. You can download maps on Google Maps for offline use.

Yeah, I don't have navigation and just use Android Auto for turn by turn with voice prompts and display on the center screen.

you can use the "Navigation : Send to vehicle" option of the mychevrolet app.
I've used it and it works well, but occasionally it is slow to download. I suggest giving yourself a head start on the download just in case.
