Don't get all technical on this.
I anticipated that it would look better, but I didn't think it would look this much better, I really do like it. I think many here might if they got to see an actual car in person, but most probably won't. I'm curious to see how the Rustoleum paint wears. I'm not worried about the paint being damaged by by exhaust pipe heat (Rustoleum rates this pain to 2000ºF it's the Rustoleium Auto paint, the BBQ paint is only rated to 500ºF), but Foosh above who has done this project on a few prior cars he has owned says it doesn't do so well once the paint collects road grime. I keep my car pretty clean and I'll be pretty vigilant about cleaning the exhaust tips before dirt/grime has a lot of time to sit on them.
I guess we'll find out. I am if nothing else a willing C7 Mod Guinea Pig on this one.
I live to serve.

Forget the black exhaust tips, you boys should be impressed with how I stretched this bullshit thread to three pages without breaking a sweat.

You've still got a shiny horn avatar Dr. Seuss, I don't.
I made you a couple of customized plates too. What do you think?
All in good fun!

Obsession in the cause of Corvette modification and C7 schwag procurement is no vice.
One of the forum vendors told me that.

Dr. Seuss?
These pipes are only visible from under the car - a hand-made reverse header, if you will. The idea is great flow, but if one is looking for "Seuss," here's the metaphor:

Good show!
My C7 is ALL black, now that I ditched the "chrome" lugnuts and painted the exhaust tips. I wanted semi-gloss black but couldn't find hot enough tolerance locally, here in the sticks, so I went with flat-black. I was also concerned with getting an even gloss finish since it is impossible to get a decent angle/distance in between the end pairs--I wasn't about to pull the mufflers off to do so!).
I found that I can live with the "BBQesque" look (though not BBQ paint) on a $60K car since no one ever notices them now, anyway. Perhaps, in the future I'll do something different... but, I doubt it. Thanks for the pix!
