Default Front plate mod

I would rather have removed front plate completely, but the DPS has nothing to do but hassle cars with no front plate. I decided to use the bracket that lowers the plate. I think the radiator will now get more air.

If you trim the stock mount down to the size of the plate, it allows air flow around all sides, and really does not reduce the air flow by much.

I did similar on my 14. On my C6 I had a friend (tool & die maker) trim the sides a 1/2" or so & also the bottom eliminating Land of Lincoln slogan. He then used a die cutter to round all 4 corners duplicating original. I am going to try this on the 18 Zo6 I have coming which should allow a little more air to pass.
