I don't know if you are having the same issue I had--there seems to be several reasons the targa top could "squeak". But FWIW:

My snap, crackle and pop top
Ok, I've had the fix done last year and have noticed a great improvement in the creaky top syndrome I was experiencing. However, here's what's going on now ... after being parked in the sun for awhile (not that we've seen too much of the sun this year), for the first few miles of driving it sounds like I have a gremlin sitting on the roof (think Twilight zone) hammering away on it with a ball peen hammer. After a few miles, it goes away. Thoughts?
Does anyone have a similar experience with the top pin replacement procedure?
