I did mine in my garage with someone pumping and hold the pedal. Start in this order: RR,LR, RF, and LF. Once to make your first pass repeat the procedure and you should be good. Mine worked as if I never took them off.
Also, While I had my calipers off for 3 weeks I used Banjo Plugs to stop the brake fluid from leaking (about 5 bucks from AutoZone).
If anyone plans to do this on there own, I be more than glad to walk you though the process.

Couple of general questions....
Do you pay the $1800 up front and then get $1200 back when you receive the customer calipers?
Do you just have one extra set of calipers at any time? Meaning you basically have to wait for the guy ahead of you to send his back in a timely manner?
Are the calipers the same for cars with carbon/ceramic rotors as the cars without?
Do the calipers get disassembled coated, baked and reassembled or do they get baked with the dust boots on etc.

Not sure... I have not been able to get a definite answer as if they are or are not. What do you have on yours?
The calipers are completely taken apart and stripped to bare metal. They are baked with the new coated WITOUT the dust boots. Any one who bakes them with the boots are putting your life in danger by subjecting the boots and seals to extra heat.

Totally different calipers.
Replacing all of the rotors on a Z07 costs nearly $10k from what I've heard. The calipers are a lot bigger and I'm guessing are pretty expensive.
TPS would need to line up a few interested Z07 customers to justify purchasing those cores. If someone can find out the price maybe that can be figured out if he wants to go down that path.
In the 2017 model year, there were a grand total of 3,461 cars made with the J57 brakes.

The based Grand Sport brakes are non carbon ceramic J56 models. The Z07 package has the J57 carbon ceramic brakes.

Looks like the J57 calipers are ~ $1000 a piece

You can still do it, you just need to do it like Philip did by removing your calipers and sending them to a vendor to have them powder coated and then returned. Or paint them yourself.
If you do ship them around make sure everything is insured!

Now what I did was once I got mine newly powder coated calipers back I took them to the guy that did the Ceramic Pro on my car and he did the calipers for me( I had them on my old calipers too). This also give added protection from the brake fluid

I have 3 other orders after this so the wait won't be too long as long as the cores come back quickly

WOW, nice! That color would look great on my Twilight Blue Design Edition...just sayin.
Is that just the "color" or is there a clear over the color?

truth be told now that i see the carbon 65 has the blue brakes, not reserving them for the ZR i was kind f annoyed they didn't offer it for this edition.. the spice red gets the red calipers
do you have a color blue for this interior that would match?

One of those sets is coming to me. Mike says the color is Candy Blue. So not the Playboy Blue Phil got. Mike assures they match the blue stripe on the outside. From the pictures they look absolutely gorgeous. I will take pics and post them as soon as I get them. I can't wait!
