Default Electrical oddities

Drove to an appointment and everything was fine. An hour later started the car to go home and the infotainment screen did nothing. Drove home turned her off and tried to set the parking brake. The indicator comes up on the screen saying it's set but I never heard anything. Took my foot off the brake and the car rolled so it's not set. Opened the door and the seat went into exit position. Out of curiosity I got out, closed the door and opened it again. Seat didn't move. Restarted it and the infotainment screen came on but it won't do anything.

I wonder if the battery is dying. It's a 2014 with only about 5k miles and still has the original battery. I was just considering last week whether I should preventively swap it out. So I would appreciate your collective wisdom.

1) Does this sound like a battery issue to anyone else? It would be consistent with odd electrical ghosts the C6 had when it's battery was headed out the door.

2) Would people recommend replacement with a traditional battery or with an AGM?

Have you had the Infotainment re-flash yet? If not, start with an appointment at your dealer....it will be a warranty thing.

I would start by testing the battery to see what voltage you are getting. You should be seeing at least 14v or so after you start the car and test it. It will drop to under 14v after the car has been running awhile and the car thinks the battery is charged.

Have a call in to the service advisor now. I purchased it certified pre-owned and the dealer claimed all the service bulletins, etc were up to date but maybe not.

Still wouldn't explain the other electric issues
