What is up man you say all is good, enough said then come back to the above crap again. If you don't want are think you don't need one all well and good just drop it & let go..
To each their own. If you see the need, that is all that counts for you.
I have had a lot of Vettes and never have used a catch can. I have never had any engine problems. So, for me I do not see the need. The fun of loving a car is moding it however you wish. Good luck with your choices.
Not to prolong this but prior to my C7 and Grand Sport my C6, '93, and '88 Vettes had gasoline passing over the back of the intake valves. So does the 8.2 Liter engine in my Street Rod as did all my cars since my 1941 Ford that I stuffed in an Olds engine when I was 17! That gas cleaned the PCV "stuff" that could otherwise bake on the back of the intake valves. The EPA has required since the early 1960's that PCV "stuff" to be put in the intake manifold and burned rather than be dumped on the ground that was some prior practice.
The technology changed with the C7. Like some other manufactures high performance engines prior to the C7 it has direct injection (DI.) Only air and PCV blowby, burned oil drops and oil vapor etc pass over the valves. The valves are very hot and that residual oil bakes on the valves-it's called "coking."
I never added a catch can prior to the C7 with it's direct injection. Do as you wish as well but understand the C7 is different than all your prior Vettes!
