Congrats! Your 2LZ is a beautiful car. I especially like the Laguna Blue but then again I'm a little biased.

Well I found a 2016 ZL2 with 2600 miles with an extended warranty for 71,000. they gave me the 55,000 for the stingray. Actually love the daytona blue but will need to get used to the chrome wheels. keep or paint black. Not sure what it would cost but my guess is not cheap.

Great looking Z! BTW ...the color is Laguna Blue and was a $995 option.

Beautiful and you will enjoy it. Just don't treat the accelerator like an on/off pedal or it will get a little too exciting.

I would get some skirts installed to protect the sides, the rear brake ducts in particular. I had ACS skirts sent to and installed at the museum before I took my Z home.

You chose a great color

Love it !!!! Laguna Blue is our favorite color. Our '16 Stingray was LB. Wish we could have gotten LB when we ordered the GS.

Chrome wheels look GREAT on this color

[QUOTE=OnPoint;1595031760]Probably less hassle to swap wheels with somebody who wants chrome.

Congrats on the new ride. I also have a Z and ordered from Jegs. Below are the part numbers from my order last year. Can't say enough about the brake dust reduction and how easy the swap was.

1 1 419-Z26-1405 Z26 BRAKE PADS 69.97
1 1 419-Z26-1718 POWERSTOP Z26 BRAKE PADS 61.97

BTW I have the chrome wheels on black car and IMHO they make the car really pop.

I disagree, the chrome wheels make the car.

Sounds like a P.I.A. to swap with shipping etc

What I would is buy those EEbay China specials that mimmick OEM and put some non run flats on them. Later selling/trading in car add both with the car at the end.

Any idea what cost would be to paint chrome black? Dealer 1st said $75 per wheel but then after checking with service said the chrome has to be sanded before painting black. did not give me a price

tks Ted

I may be interested in a trade. Here's my car: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...z06-owner.html

We're "only" 400 miles away from each other. I'm going to try to find a picture of a black car with those rims to see if I like the look.

Enjoy your upgrade, Ted. I'm interested to see what you decide with the wheels. Please do NOT go with black though......

Personally if it was me....I would keep the chrome wheels. Normally not a chrome wheel fan, but think they look great on Laguna Blue. Besides this is the way the car came from the factory and I am a stickler for originality on my Vettes!

thanks for the info. will keep in mind going forward. p.s. for now I'll keep the chrome as my wife loves the look. I would not go black but do like the machined version better
