Looks great! Would the diffuser help keep the rear end from getting so dirty. I'm amazed at how quickly the rear end gets filthy. Also, will this be a simple DIY install?

The under tray may offer some extra protection but some dirty may still the get up there. The rear diffuser will need to be removed in order to properly install the under tray, drilling on the diffuser is required. Installation guidelines will be available shortly!

What I can see in the CHD simulation is increased drag! but less apparent is any increase in downforce.

It appears that you have accelerated the airflow under the car (see how the underflow remains attached to the ground after the car before rising up in wells of drag.) This acceleration is counterproductive in the drag department and generally a no-op in the DF department.

The likely culprit is the pinching section where the lower diffuser pinches off the airflow into the original diffuser.

See "Race car aerodynamics: Designing for Speed" Joseph Katz.

They also changed the inputs (fluid properties? velocity?), like I pointed out. That CFD is basically a scam and definitely very shady:

Fact of the matter is, this probably doesn't do a damn thing for aero and adds a few pounds. The car just isn't low enough or flat enough underneath for it to effectively employ a rear diffuser. It looks pretty cool though.

The product description says "Made with 100% authentic Carbon Fiber top layer, 2x2 twill cross weave pattern."

So what is used for the reinforcement layers, fiberglass?

Does this fit the Stingray or Z06 only?

Let us know how we can help!
Thanks. Bought mine yesterday. Will post a PDF of the install after it arrives! Been looking at rear diffusers since I got my September 2013 built C7. This is the best looking one I have seen-from pics.

This should look great on my Artic White Grand Sport.

Had your CF splitter with end plates on my Z51, great product.

Me and you both, brother!

C7 can we get some shots from further back looking directly at the back so it's not so fish eyed and also maybe a back quarter angle shot?
