i can't seem to find it in the manual or in the forum...there is a yellow "i" on in the dash board and i can't seem to find where to go to see if there is an item that needs checking?

That's the info screen. Does it go away once the car starts? If not, use the left arrow on the right side of the steering wheel. That will give you several different screen options, one of which is info.

Remember...if you see a white arrow there are more menus available. Keep scrolling using the arrow buttons on the steering wheel. The menus can go go left, right, up and down.

Press and hold the start button without pressing the brake/clutch and after a few seconds it will turn on everything. Then you can scroll through things without running the engine. Just remember to turn it off since it will not time out.

That is what the museum suggested when I took delivery of mine and after I got it home I plugged in the battery maintainer and used the "service" ignition position (hold in start button without pushing clutch or brake) so that you can go through all of the menus/settings. If doing this in a dim garage manually turn off the headlights since they consume a lot of current.

And have fun!
