Will two days @ the Jersey Shore wreck my car's finish?

Any aluminum will oxidize slightly. Been dealing with it forever.
when compared to a car or truck inland with even more mileage and age you pip the hood and look at the aluminum. Outside of that and anything underneath not protected by clear or some type of painted or powder coating it will look different. Not horrible but noticable. And my car barely spends time not locked down in the garage and I'm less than a mile from the bay at the shore.
it'll be fine.

You guys are setting me up. I'm going to vacuum wrap the car and never take it within 50 miles of any beach.

Sounds like that's maybe a good idea for you.

I guess a weekend @ the shore is ok, and if I had a house there it would be fine if I could garage the car. But that wind/sand/salt air seems like i would beat the living crap out of a car's paint over time if it wasn't mostly garaged.

Yeah. The only issue will be unprotected uncoated aluminum parts. Ive explaimed that. Ive been livimg there for 16yrs. Nobody but me and my buddy ever noticed it as we always have the same exact vehicles and compare them side by side now and then. It just creates this light oxidation that can be polished away with mothers mag and aluminum polish (which always makes my cars aluminum look better than his lol).
we both had new Trailblazer SS, G8, GMC pickups, now Z06's. My Z06 is nicer than his becaise i polish the aluminum bits. His Sierra is nicer than mine because i dont lol.
anyone living within a mile or 2 of any salt water will notice this when comparing Underwood to one who isn't it from a new car dealer that isn't.
you'll be FINE.

We have a place on the next barrier island up (Ortley) 5 houses from the beach, and from taking cars there (including occasionally Corvettes) for the past 23 years, the biggest issue is sand dust - you need to rinse and wash the car quite often to keep it at bay. I wash my cars, which sit out, as often as 2x per day (when I get up and after the sun is blocked by the house in mid afternoon).
My C7's don't get there very often because it is usually me, the wife and 2 kids - too big of a crowd for the C7; but I take it down whenever I get the chance.

OK, I hope you guys are happy now.
I immediately proceeded to push the outer edges of the LBI Parking Ordinance envelope.
I took one look at my pal's Birkenstocks and his Chevy Volt and realized that the whole Corvette thing would be lost on him, and the weekend would be spent discussing counter trump strategies between herbal tea beaks and feng shui reflection sessions. Happily my other childhood pal Mark showed more appropriate Jersey boy enthusiasm for the C7 and asked for a ride up to Barnegat Light. You can't drive very fast here, but he still enjoyed it.

It's really not too hard to get some of you boys all cranked up, I hope you're not too high strung to be driving 450-650 hp sports cars. Just sayin.

Looks like All's Well, you enjoyed the Vette with no incident!
I definitely agree with the above and would give it a VERY thorough cleaning.

Just pay attention to the weather. I had my SUV out in the dunes on Cape Cod last year. A sudden squall came up with lots of flying sand. I had to have all the windows replaced on one side due to sand blasting. It was covered by my Comprehensive glass insurance. The bright work was pitted but that had a deductible so I didn’t bother replacing it. Amazingly, the paint looked fine. I’m sure it’s pitted like the windows but you really can’t tell.
