Rodney, based on what I'm reading, it looks like you drove 300 miles to buy your first Corvette. You've got to punctuate, brother.
i rode 300 miles in my corvette after i did that i see no need for mag ride control no i did not test drive one but the way i feel you want something that rides any smoother you dont need to be in a sports car lol
My '16 without rides is better than my previous C6 with. However, it's my understanding GM improved the mag ride system in the C7's. I haven't had the opportunity to find out though.
I had a base c7 stingray without magride and it rode very smooth. My c7 z51 without magride was a different story and was quite a lot rougher. My current C7, z06 with magride is by far the smoothest of them all with magride in touring mode.
So to the OP, yes a base stingray without magride can be a smooth riding vette. Congrats on the c7!
I'm amazed how smooth my GS rides in Sport Mode. Rides so nice I haven't even tried it in the other modes. But I'm used to driving much older Corvettes.
