Most local LEO's are cool about it, but DPS and constables seem to hunt for anything they can. I don't blame them, they're just doing their job, but still... Honestly, if it was just a fix it ticket, or a small fine I may even deal with it.
It's all good. I turned it into a good day, by taking my son out to a parking lot and teaching him to drive standard. After about 20 mins in a parking lot he was finally able to take off fairly well. (no hills were involved)
I live in Kentucky. Here we don't have to run a front plate. I travel into Virginia on a regular basis due to work. While in a restaurant one evening talking with a Virginia DOT cop he informed me that in the near future all states will require the front plate because of the traffic cameras and such. I'm not sure how much truth is in that but he sure seemed sure of it.
i hope not.
You know we really considered moving to Texas but that front license plate just doesn't do it for me. Only a rear one required in Florida.
NO front plate in PA, and BETTER YET....... NO tax on retirement income in PA....... yea, yea, I know..... FL has no state income tax on anyone. I get it..... I lived there 18 years.
But, best of all we have hills and crooked roads, twisties, etc in central and western PA

It is what it is...
It will be okay..I have had mine on my 2014 Corvette for three years now and use to have a front license plate on my 82 Corvette for decades ...when I got antique plates for my 82 Corvette , only one plate is required for my older Corvette so it only has one license plate now!
kinda surprised an aftermarket vendor hasn't come up with some kind of snap-on/snap-off front tag bracket for y'all. Surely it would sell good if well made & marketed properly.
There are plenty of options to easily take it on and off, but it has to be on any time you're driving. The only time I would take it off would be at a show...
Anytime elected people huddle up on car issues, we know it won't be to make things better. Stupidity low speed limits and acceptance of terrible drivers seem to be their main accomplishments to date. Next election, I'll need to know what type of vehicle they drive before I voted for them. Vote with my foot so to speak.
In this day of spending carefully, someone in political office will have to explain why some states are running successful DOT and police activities while requiring only one plate while others seem to be incompetent even while requiring two.
The camera argument doesn't work for me because a) here in NC the camera system is used to monitor red light violations and all tolls on toll roads (Quick Pass System) b) are the states with two plates going to need two cameras to make their systems work? If it works here, why doesn't it work elsewhere?
CP:If having to put a front plate on your car or not is the deciding factor as to where to live, you really don't have much going on in your life.
Geeez, lighten up buddy, I was only kidding!

I know that mainly because I lived in PA all of my life. And yes I do miss the hills and twisty roads, especially the ones with no shoulder and a ditch 8 feet deep beside it at night while it's freezing rain, sleet or snow. But having traveled all over our country PA is one of the most beautiful. And all my kids live there.
