DSC shock controller - objective measurements?
I don't know what the warranty is, but I've never heard of an OEM controller failing, and I wouldn't expect the DSC to be any different. There aren't any moving parts, and it's a sealed circuit board. Contact dscsport.com and ask.
BTW, I did just find this on their website under FAQs addressing concerns about additional suspension wear.
DSC Sport does not add any stress to the factory dampers or other suspension components. In fact, the factory control method sends a constant current to the dampers, while DSC Sport alters the current and utilizes a series of on/off commands. Under normal usage, DSC Sport will ultimately send less current to the dampers allowing for better cooling during usage.

and understand you want to know all you can about the DSC Controller. Please do not hesitate to ask questions on the Forum.
We're here to help

But I can't stress enough, that if you have not read this Long thread I posted a link to in post #4, you should read it

Pretty much All the info you need to know is in it, except maybe Warranty info.
DSC is very helpful and willing to answer questions with a phone call.
Case in point, a Forum member damaged his USB input connection on the Controller installing his.
DSC sent him another one.
And yes they will put the Tour Plush file in if you ask.
And even if they don't by mistake, DSC will help you, or you can put it in yourself as I did.
Either way you will not regret installing this Controller.
Foosh and I, and many others installed the DSC Controller over a year ago.
The Ride and more importantly, Handling with the DSC Controller is night and day compared to the GM Controller.
What the DSC does a better job of is softening and stiffening the shocks for better handling using a more sophisticated algorithm and more input data from systems already on-board. The OEM controller uses far fewer inputs so it tends more often to be stiffer than the DSC in the same situation.
In the FAQs on the DSC website, it is stated that the OEM controller is always on sending a constant current to the shocks, whereas the DSC has an on-off switch and alters the current such that it may actually be "easier" on the shocks than the OEM unit.
However, I see your point. You never know what a rogue dealer or area rep may do, and we've seen some ridiculous examples of that.
