Default FOB Question

Looking for a Fob case thinking leather. My Fob falls out of pocket on to seat when getting out on a occasion. Thinking leather case might help fob from sliding so much. If any one else bought fob case which did you get and does it stay in pocket better. I haven't seen any nice C7 fob cases in leather but found a couple Cadillac leather and a C6 one. Does anyone know if C6 fob or Cadillac is same size as a C7 Fob. Or thinking of putting a small piece of velco on Fob . Thanks for any thoughts or suggestion . Dave

The Cadillac fob cover works. I bought 2 off eBay.

I bought this cheap rubber one from Amazon. It's not very sexy but it sticks in my pocket and if I drop it there won't be any damage.

If you want a cover that won't slip, then silicone is the answer. It might even stick in your pocket enough that when you pull it out, the pocket will turn inside-out.

I was thinking leather but if the silicone one keeps it in your pocket that is what I'm after. Thanks Dave

Silicone. This is all I have used for my C6 and now C7 FOBS. Cheap and they work great.

I support the silicon ones as well! Works on my C7 fob after serving me on my C6 for years.

I use this one. I took off the strap and carry in my pocket. Fits the Fob perfectly.

It had another important benefit that I purchased it for my 2014. That FOB had a very insecure latch holding the removable key. Took the FOB out of my Jeans pocket and found I was holding only the removable key and key ring! A forum poster said they had the same thing happen but the FOB must have pulled out as well and it was lost!

The silicone cover not only provides more friction than leather, it holds the removable key to the FOB. Have to remove the two corners to get it out, which hopefully I don't have to ever do!

The Grand Sport removable key to FOB latch is more secure but just transferred the FOB cover from the 2014 to the new one.

I have to know... why do so many people capitalize fob like FOB? I don't think it's an acronym... maybe your'e supposed to yell it every time you say it?

"Sweetie, have you seen my FOB to the car?"

It's fob, like a watch fob. Unless its a Mercedes or Chrysler product, then its a fobik (dunno why)

So, capitalizing it is incorrect, then? Okay, well at least I know I'm not losing my mindik.
