^^^ Yeah, thinking about removing the chrome fish on my black '17. Only thing keeping me from it so far is that it won't be "correct." Oh, and in the spirit of "less is more," my calipers are Z-51's so they're black. No offense meant.
When the car was xpel wrapped, it was decided not to put the emblems back over the xpel. That was the logical conscensous, beside my preference.
If Z51 was a model like Stingray, Grand Sport or Z06, that's one thing, but it's just a suspension package. Nowadays I think most C7s have that package so it would be like putting a NPP exhaust sticker on mine.
The Z51 package is a lot more than a suspension package. That being said, I debadged mine and like it that way. The stock side sperms was a miss IMHO.
That's odd. My Xpel was precut for the emblem outline, would have looked goofy had I not put the emblems back on.
On the fenders it's an option to remove or do the cut around. Since badging is supposedly inconsistent most installers remove them and put them back on with two sided tape.
Always amazes me WHY some individuals are interested in the opinion of others especially when it comes to modding their car. Did you buy your car on the opinion of others? Did you pick out the exterior color or did you go with the opinion of another? Do to the car what you like and what makes you feel good and what makes you Happy. It’s your car and a reflection of “YOUR” taste. If other’s don’t like it, 2 F’n bad.
I agree with most everybody here. Loose the Z51 emblems.
I also took off the fish emblems the first weekend i had the car.
Front renders look much clener without them
On my 2014 Stingray, 3LT Z51 M7 car, the day after I got it I took the two stingrays off the side of the car. I also removed the Corvette from the back end. I felt it looked much better with out anything on the car.

I would have gotten rid of the flag badges also if the bumper facia were not indented....that would have looked really bad without the emblem, so replaced the OEM with the carbon flash ones and am happy with that.
