This was my first time there so I am not sure if where you are asking about is considered the Fun Field or if it is more of an exhibition area. I got a "Fun Field" pass and was told I could park anywhere "on the grass" but there was nothing that close when I parked. Perhaps one of the Carlisle veterans can chime in and answer the question.

Thanks! Yea, it is definately worth the trip. There is a lot to see and a lot to talk about with folks considering our common interest and love for these cars. This was my first time going and unfortunately I was only there for a few hours, but I know there was so much more that I didn't see.
