Smell after driving

After going out for a drive and parking in garage i get a plastic hot smell. I have 2500 miles on my GS in five months. has any one experienced this? I have left the windows done and the interior smells have mostly gone away. Thanks

I think it's called "new car smell." Leave it with me for six months and I'll fix that for you.

I'm at 4100 miles on my 17 Z06 and have noticed an odor outside the car. I think it's from the exhaust but not sure. I was trapped in traffic on I-95 after a big rig crash and lowered the windows instead of idling with the AC on and it smelled like fish with new car smell blended in. I put the car in the air when I got home thinking I may have hit road kill or something. The exhaust looks and smells brand new. I can still detect a faint odor after it's been running.

Maybe a plastic bag got caught up on the exhaust.

Sure the smell isn't from air conditioner water dripping on hot exhaust pipes? Pretty typical.

i noticed that yesterday. After a 100 mile or so drive I parked in the garage with the top down. Went back int the garage about an hour later and I could smell the car. I just attribute it to cooling down. I don't think it is anything to worry about.
