Is it possible that GM, or at least Corvette produces these unusual colors to have them out and about, not because of large sales? Whether it's Lime Rock green, Black Rose or no-orange-peel Sebring Orange, it does get attention. Sort of like an additional, rolling advertisement to have people take a look or a second look?

Let's just hope GM doesn't adopt the Cadillac model of selling colors - charge for every color except silver. Does it surprise anyone that silver has become the biggest selling color for Cadillac?
Imo, charging for colors that cost no additional money to produce, especially on a $50k+ car is just petty.
This is among the many reasons why, other than Corvettes' (which I won't pay extra for a color), I won't buy GM vehicles.
