You will get a human ,that would be "ME" VR tech.
I designed the kit, and have helped customers over the yrs who have never even changed their own oil. I will be able to help even the most inexperienced installer, but this is a quick/easy installation.

Can you post or can we see the directions on your site?

Melting Slicks
Waiting for some customer feedback, truly still have a hard time believing a CAI can make a noticeable difference but still open to the idea.

Yep, I'm watching this thread too. Very interested.

All Vararam units are Performance Guaranteed - meaning if in the first 30 days you are unhappy with the unit for any reason we will take it back for a full refund and pay the shipping both ways! Only thing you risk is your time to install!

Vararam is the sh*t. I replaced a different CAI on my G8 back in the day with a vararam and it was night and day. If I keep my GS and don't buy a ZR1 I will be buying one next spring. IMO no one does a more thorough job testing their product, glad to see it's available for the C7.

I see that some have received incomplete kits, missing a hose. Have you remedied this oversight yet? Just would like to install kit all at once, rather than having you ship out another hose and waiting to receive it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

After all,.. when you buy a CAI as people like to call them, isn't it also supposed to be high flow?
When we update our website, I think your questions regarding flow improvement will be answered.

Mines on. Looks very clean, someone not familiar with C7s would probably not know it isn't stock. If there is any difference in intake noise I can't hear it but I'm about half deaf.
The stock setup is not very clean inside as far a airflow is concerned, lots of bumps and tunnels and such. The Vararam is very smooth inside and maybe a little larger in diameter.
As far as performance, hard to tell a 20 hp difference on a 460 hp engine with the butt dyno. I've got a Chuck Cow tune so I'm gonna do a data log and send it off to see if I need a tweek with the Vararam.
When I was at Carlisle in '16 I asked one of the engineers from Chevy about aftermarket CAI. I asked him if Chevy really left 20 or so hp on the table. Answer was yes.
I was very skeptical when I first started looking at Vararam on the C5Z. The claims seem to be accurate.

This will be up on our website very soon. All flow bench data is tested to SAE standards in multiple configurations.
Not all oiled filters use the same type of oils. Most of the companies use a heavy Silicone based oil. That is what screws up MAF wires. Green filter uses a completely different type of oil that cleans material off of the wires.
That is why Ford Motor company used them as Standard equipment on the Ford GT , Yet Ford would void your warranty if you used a K&_ filter!
If your just dead set on using a dry filter, we could always have Green make "YOU" a dry filter. We would have them alter the layer structure etc.... for a dry combination. I make custom filters like this all of the time from Green Filter pleat packs in our R&D facility when we are designing and testing new kit designs.

I had a RotoFab CAI on the LS3 engine in my 2009 G8 GXP. It had an incredibly awesome induction sound at WOT. Later, I had a VaraRam CAI on an 06 GTO and could not tell any difference in induction sound at WOT. Personally, I love that sound and hope that with this new CAI for the C7 that it can be heard. My 74 Firebird Formula 455 with the Ram Air hood has a sweet induction sound as well when the 4-barrel QuadraJet carb starts sucking air at WOT.
As others have said, it is hard to tell the difference between 460 HP and 480 HP with the butt dyno, but the sound of induction is unmistakeable. My reason for buying one would be to gain that audible enhancement of the driving experience.
