Considering buying a 2014.
1-Are there any issues with the 2014 year that I should watch for?
2- Are there any differences in the options of the 2014 vs newer?
Thanks
If you are looking for a automatic transmission, the 2014 would be my choice. Any other bonuses that may be on the later models are NOT worth trading for a solid automatic in the 2014 IMO. (if you like green LRG is only available on the 2014.......man I do love that color).
for the first time (in a long list of Corvette generations) it seems the "first year" on the C7 turned out to be a good one.
Other than not having the PDR (BFD)... there's not much diff (except on the automatic version. My '15 has the A8... but i would of been just as content with the A6).
My 2014 has only been to dealer one time, for a air bag control module reprogram...
Turns out even though the first year, it may be one of the most reliable years. I have the M7.
Yes, there is a difference! The Rev Match feature is better in 15 and later. The 14's have a bit longer of a "blip" on the throttle, which makes it not quite as responsive.
I owned a 14 Stingray and then upgraded to a 16 Z06. The 16's Rev Match is much better.
Your right.I do the manual rev match on mine. The automatic rev match on my 14 is lousy.
