Bought four Z06 nickel pearl wheels from CF member and found out yesterday at tire shop that one of the fronts is bent when they went to balance it there is a wobble sent message to seller but of course no reply
Wondering if this can be fixed with wheel off as I payed to have tire mounted and it was no easy task - I would assume a wheel straighten would warrant taking the wheel of and heated up and that said now I an concerned about ruining the finish on the wheel
Only a good wheel shop can answer that question. If the bend isn't bad, and there are no hairline cracks, it should be repairable, but only they can assess the risk to the finish. However, good shops should be able to match the paint finish.

Thanks no obvious cracks or anything like that just a wobble on balancing machine within tol. they said it should be 17 wheel is 23 not sure what the numbers mean
So you are saying they will have to refinish the wheel - probably better to buy another one - not a happy camper now I have to buy another wheel and pay for tire change all over and its not cheap

I can't possibly assess whether it will need to be refinished after straightening. My wife and daughter are expert curb rashers, so I've had a fair amount of experience with wheel repairs. In every case, they have been able to blend in the small damaged area, so that it's virtually impossible to see the small area that was repainted.
Curb rash repairs are about $100/wheel, and straightening can probably be done for under $200, so it's definitely worth consulting a shop before running out and buying another wheel.
