Welcome to the forum. Congratulations, you never forget your first. And I'm sure you already know your wife's a keeper. Enjoy, and don't forget to wave.
Thanks again everybody. Glad I made the purchase. The general consensus was most wish they would have bought their corvette/dream car sooner so I figured do it before my midlife crisis!

Brings back memories. '66 427 was also my first and while it was one helluva car, not sure I would give up my C7 for one.
Big thing on my '66 was it was triple black, the 425 HP, vert with hard top. Factory side exhausts, factory knock off wheels, Teak steering wheel was an option and think the FM radio was also? Forgot the rest but it was a bitching ride back then. To see these come across the auction block now at Mecum/ Barret-Jackson and others makes my mind spin.
Think the sticker was in the area of $4-4,500?...and these are bringing 6 figures in these auctions.
I've been very forunate in new home sales here in Houston and have a amazing wife who told me to get what I've been dreaming about since I was 8. Here she is. Bought from Kerbeck after a friend had a great expierence and had delivered by PlyCar. First 500 miles are going to be tough keeping my foot out of it!
