I was just wondering how some of you deal with the Drive-up ATMs? I've got alligator arms, and I can't seem to reach the buttons without unbuckling my seatbelt and opening the car door. and I still have to stretch! Now I find myself parking the Corvette and using the walk-up ATM. Oh, the horror!

That's why I also have a taller 4 door sedan for those mundane tasks.

What's an ATM? And they drive up now?!?
Seriously, in general I rarely carry or deal with cash. Almost every place I shop at accepts credit/debit cards. In fact all of my credit cards and loyalty cards are now in my phone in Samsung Pay (or Android Pay). Samsung Pay in particular has technology that uses NFC to generate a magnetic field that tells the older, magnetic swipe kind of terminals your information.
I keep one additional, real card for those terminals like at McDonalds and when you have to give your card to your server at a bar or restaurant.
Additionally whenever I purchase something at the grocery store or 7-11, etc. I'm always offered cash back which normally annoys me because it's an extra step and usually I don't want cash back but on those rare occasions that I need cash I can get it there without having to go to an ATM and be charged like $2.50 - $4 for the privilege of getting my own money! The only thing I can think of that's a bigger rip off than ATM fees is bottled water!
All that said, I do find it difficult to punch in the access code as various friends gated communities.

Safety Car
The only time I've gone to a Drive up ATM in the C6, I shut the engine off, put it in R (manual trans), put the top down, unbuckled my belts and stood up in the car. At that point, it was pretty easy to deal with. I don't think I even had to put the driver's window down much. I probably could have just turned and kneeled on the seat.
The same strategery works at McDonald's drive thrus.

I raise the top a little bit if she doesn't have her shirt off already.

Move to CT. With our politically correct standards, we have the ATM's at a height where people in wheelchairs can "walk up" and use them. The Vette is the only car I have that matches up!
