Customer Service has absolutely NOTHING to do with the order process. My best guess - whoever told you this, either Customer Service or your dealer/salesperson, is blowing smoke.
thanks, I have no reason to believe that the dealer made up the story. I am guessing it was customer service, strange, One other question for you.Do you think all the orders will be processed on the November 6 or could it take longer.
Orders are "processed" based on dealer allocations and constraints. Not sure what you mean by "all orders". There is probably zero chance that all orders will be accepted by GM by Nov 6th, given the fairly low allocations and existing constraints. The plant starts up on Nov 6th and will be operating at a reduced capacity. MY 2019 production starts January 29th, so there will be less than 10 weeks of 2018 MY production and accepted orders already have Target Production Weeks in early January.
I kept an open mind as to my opinion on this color. And I've seen it in the flesh in several different light settings, both natural and artificial, and just can't bring myself to like it in any.
Of course, as per the above, some like it and that's GOOD as it would be a pretty boring C7 world if we all only liked red, black and white.
I certainly don’t think it’s for everyone. When equipped the way I like, I like something about all the current color options and willing to bet the Sebring orange is going to look great too. Maybe it’s the car?
OP, sounds like it may not go well.. I hope you receive a detailed explanation from your dealership. Hey, worst case scenario? You get a 2019 Corvette lol... sucks to be you right?
I've seen this color in person at a Chev. dealership. It's unusual in that it's a new color and holds your attention looking good at it. I kind of like it. Hope you do too.

OK thanks, yes I see some tpw is already at 1/1/18, just leaves 20 days not including weekends, Looking more like a 19 instead. My overriding concern is they drop the color before mine gets produced. What's you best guess?
