It would be REALLY helpful if folks would let us know if the bent wheel they've experienced was a front or rear one. And GS or Z06? And year?

I agree with Flenn that most corvette owners gripe and moan but ultimately can afford to pay, which they do, and then move on. I filled out the online complaint form for Indiana and rec'd back an email about how to file a tort claim which i'm not going to take the time to do.
When I replaced my 2 wheels (drivers side front and rear '17 GS) they showed me on the rack that my other two wheels had a slight wobble also but recommended I ignore it as it was minor. That's what I've done so far. On the other hand, the 2 I replaced had a noticeable, annoying vibration immediately after hitting a particular pot hole.
I declined the $50 core credit for the 2 wheels I replaced. I'll post pictures of them as soon as I can make time but at first glance I see no bends and not so much as a scratch on them. I also have the Mexico labels on the boxes that the replacement wheels came in since the bent wheels are not inside those boxes. I'll post photos of those too for anyone wondering where these wheels come from. I kept the bent wheels thinking that i'll have them repaired to replace any future bends/cracked wheels.
In the mean time, I also plan my route and take only newer roads if I can find them. The only think I can avoid is those raised patches of pavement that seem to occur on both sides of bridges in my area.

A trip from Tucson to Memphis cost me two bent wheels going and two bent wheels coming back. Caused by pot holes on the interstate. 2017 grand sport Are these cars not able to use the interstate system?

Looks great. The car is lowered to the hilt. Too bad they cost a small fortune. I think next time I’d just buy these right away and sell the OEM set. I’ve been lucky so far. 4K miles and no issues. Although I haven't hit anything either.

3 years and 11.5K miles with no bent rims. About 4K of those miles are on track with some of the on track miles being on stock rims.

Bent wheel
If you get a shaking at a certain speed and then it gets better going faster then it’s an out of balance wheel, if the shaking gets worse the faster you go then it’s a bent rim most likely. I made up a test station with a hub and a dial indicator to know for sure. It can be done on the car if needed but that might be a little difficult.A brand new wheel might have about 20 1000ths run out. More than about 80 is a problem. You could swap the left and right wheel and see if that makes a difference.

So I had a opportunity to get new wheels and I didn't get OEM for this reason. I over-inflated my tires and drove carefully and I was ok but the fear part is killing.
So I am getting non-run flat contis (there is speculation that RFTs exacerbate the problem) and these Stance Wheels in Gloss black.

I just want to live without the fear of smashed wheels and tires. I am getting AAA instead of run flat tires. If something happens, I will just get a free tow.

For what it's worth, I've got a Z51 and I'm staying with run-flats and the OEM Z51 wheels. Haven't had a problem. While other threads have disclosed that some have had issues with the Z51 wheels, I've not met anyone first hand with that problem.
I have met GS owners that have bent wheels. In one instance all four bent when the owner drove over a repaving operation where the road grinder had removed an inch or two of asphalt and there was no "cushion" to return the cars to the untouched asphalt where the grinding stopped.
I don't recall having met anyone with a Z06 with wheel issues.
I've also met a C6 GS owner with a couple of bent wheels and a couple of C5 owners with cracked, polished wheels.
