Performance Pedals / Covers?

Has anyone bought or installed performance pedals on their car and does GM make them. I got a brochure from GM after I purchased my car and they showed a photo of aluminum pedal covers or replacement pedals - couldn't tell but said they were GM accessories?

Not sure I've seen any. I had the stainless steel ones on my M3. They do look nice.

I'm looking for the actual pedals but someone suggested that they make covers that have a much "grippier" non slip surface for performance driving like on the track etc. vs. the original pedals in the car.

I usually drive with rubber soled shoes such as sneakers-I stopped using metal spikes in my golf shoes years ago.......so really no need for protection for my pedals.
