This thread exemplifies the very best of CF - a bunch of enthusiasts who really do help each other.

OP, glad it's fixed, and nice car!

Really?
Car's wild graphics represent something real, saw actual 'combat'.
Truly unique vs ordinary public rides, a story's behind its life.
Leave it. For a while, anyway.

Imagine a dealership's service department if horn honked & they raise door, this pulls in.

Is that a splitter support rod in the front? Is there supposed to be one on both sides?

Looks like there are two. It looks black on one side and chrome on the other.

It's a great looking car.

Thanks guys!

Went to start it the next day after buying a $20 relay from GM and it cooked another. Jacked the car up and looked at the starter and the header is up against it! Has a set of long tubes. Im thinking the long drive back from Florida with only stopping for gas killed it. So I will be ordering a new one and wrap the headers so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I would make sure the you also have a good ground and the positive starter cable has not melted somewhere and causes a short.
