I have loved all the generations of Corvette Convertibles. I have only owned verts. I don't think I'll ever like the abomination bat mobile they are calling a C8 convertible. My opinion and I guess enough people will like it. If there is a C8 in my future, it will be a coupe. Never thought I'd say the coupe looks better, but with the C8 it does in my opinion. God Bless the people buying the C8 verts. I'll keep my 2019 vert, with the M7.

Enough winter already! 55 degrees, clear roads, and time for a quick drive. Looks like it's back in the garage for a couple weeks now, however. (Stillwater, MN)

I will have to see what the wide body C8 looks like. A slight performance bump from the C7 Z to a C8 51 is not worth it imo.
I forgot to post this here in the convertible forum, This speaker setup will only fit in our Verts... I installed a VetteNuts sealed speaker box with a JL Audio 10W6V3 running at 2 Ohms (dual 4 Ohm) I used an LS2I to pull from the right door base speaker and disconnected the Mic's in the cabin... Powering the 10 is a JL Audio Slash 600/1 Amp..
I did some testing and tuning yesterday using REW, this setup is easily hitting 120 db at 50 to 60 hz but at 30 hz its only hitting about 70 db, not bad at all for a sealed speaker... Of course I forgot to save some of the data... I am thinking about installing (I just bought) a 2x4 MiniDSP to flatten the curve and see what a DSP EQ'ed setup can do. put a new noise on the car all the parts are not back onto the car yet also it will not look like a 4x4 when I am done with her & get the fenders parts back over the tires.

Body shop charged me 192.00 more just in labor to get it to fit around the light & fender correct is all. But it fits 100% I told the guy I didnt want it if it didnt. So now I am getting these other part rapped in the true C.F. sheets a diff shop said they can do it.
so, it appears to me that this is not really a "convertible sub section." it is simply a single convertible thread. Can we please have an actual sub-section where we can post separate convertible-related threads?
