These tops are a material made by Haartz. Its used in high end tops like Benz Bentley etc. I just hose it off with water 99% of the time. If you get road grime or bugs just use a very mild soap and sponge or soft brush and light pressure, then hose it off and let it dry. Stays soft that way. Its a pretty tough material but dont abuse it with rough brushes or harsh soap. I've had a couple of tops made from this.

grey on grey, checking in =D also, to clean the top, my super secret method is to use a horsehair brush.. probably better brands/makes of brushes to be had than the usual stuff in the shoe section at a Target or whatever, but you get the idea..

I agree and do same as above and my black top is immaculate after 4 years. As stated above these are high quality tops and the worst thing I feel you can do is 'Over Clean' or scrub it.
I use a heavy duty lint roller (super sticky) ever so often (between washings) to remove any lint or debris that settles on it while stored in the garage. This works great on a dark top that shows every piece of lint.

The lint roller works great!
I vacuum it and then use the lint roller to pick up some of the stuff that is stuck in the weave. I use the lint roller between vacuums.
I also just got the RaggTopp Premium Convertible Top Cleaning Brush. It worked nicely.
New to the Corvette C7 world. Picked up a 2017 over the winter and idle time has meant upgrades. Seems like parts are showing up all the time. Christmas at my front door!
Tweaks so far are Z06 grille, front splitter, wheel wells, side skirts, aFe intake, exhaust, fuel rail covers (stockers were worn out - new are painted white with red lettering), wind guard and some new tires. Also, replaced the center lid cover to address the standard elbow stretch spot.

You better hope summer gets to you soon, you'll be broke. Looks good

Yes, warm weather is here next week. That has prompted me to get it all ready for the season. But, the parts were not too bad, for cost, compared to my other car. Really enjoying having a new project. These cars are a blast!

Administrator savewave was kind enough to let us try a sub-section for Convertibles/Roadsters/Drop-tops or what ever you want to call them as a sticky for a month to see if their was enough traffic to justify it's existence.
My own experience has been frustrating trying to find info that applies to verts only and having to sift thru hundreds of posts trying to find a owner with a soft top car to chat with. Let's see if we can generate enough posts on here to make it permanent.
I've owned about twenty Vettes and only one was a coupe. When I was looking for my current '14 Z51 3LT M7 MRC roadster, I was flexible on the color but the manual roadster was the only car I considered.
Help me make this work!
