A lot of the regular service technicians just don't want to deal with convertible top issues. At the largest Chevy dealership in town (they sell at least 200 C7 Vettes a year)- they only had a trim/convertible top specialist that works 1 day a week to look at issues like this.
Even with the TSB, they had no idea what the cost would be.....and estimated 2-3 hours minimum. It seems simple to swap out just a few screws, but a few of the screws are tough to reach.
Tightening the existing screws + WD40 should help fix your problem.
While that may be true, the clicking is solved with the TSB parts replacement being accomplished - per GM. Getting them to do it, is sometimes the issue.
Too bad they removed this convertible thread from the 'sticky' area as it's a great and significant thread and now difficult to find until someone makes the effort to revive it every so often.
Thanks Dale, I never get tried of looking at these beautiful C7 "verts"
Also, thanks to you CAB6 for all your contributions here. Not only for the beautiful photos you share amazing, but also giveing the rest of us different perspectives/ideas for shooting our C7 Verts.

I don't believe I've ever posted anything in this thread, so I thought I'd put up a few pics of my 2014 from where it all started on the showroom floor (April 24, 2014) to showing my slightly upgraded 1LT interior.
