That's my guess too. Lighter brighter colors seem to be trending more popular again.

It probably doesn't mean a thing, but Googling "Rhythm and Blue paint color" brings up this.

Why? It kind of reminds me of your fender hash marks and interior.

Hard to tell much from the video since they show so little body-color painted area, but I'll certainly take your word on Corvette Paint!

Sorry if I did not show my appreciation for the info you provide. I just felt Rick was being criticized unfairly but I am also grateful for your hard work. Look it seems that at time the corvette forum has infighting for no reason. We are all united by the passion of Corvettes. No need to fight to get our point across.

So no thanks is ever needed because I do it out of my own gratitude and passion. I'm having a blast!

I agree...and no offense taken. The months of November through February on the forum seem to be more negative than other months. It seems true year after year and when Corvette owners can get their cars out from their winter slumber it seems attitudes improve as well.

Doesn't seem to be much speculation on Dark Shadow Metallic. My first instinct at the name was yet another shade of gray, but hard to see where a darker grey would fit in the lineup with WGG carrying on.
I expect it to be a version of really dark grey - almost black - with significant metallic in in it. Maybe a dark gray version of night race blue, which had lots of different hues depending upon lighting.

I'm just glad they are keeping admiral blue. I wonder when the new paint booth will start producing admiral blue. Doesn't make much sense to buy a 19 if you don't get the new paint upgrade.

Looking at the list above it doesn't look like they changed much else. Still an A8 vs A10. I may buy a 17 that is still out there in the spring if it is still around or just order a 19. I'm really hoping they bring back the factory build tour, if not I hope museum delivery.

I believe more recent reports are that all colors will be coming out of the new paint booth once regular production resumes instead of just a handful of colors.

There will be different colors, but right now the announced maximum for the new paint booth is 12 colors.

My wifes cousin had a 73 that color. Loved it. He would visit us on weekends and let me have the car while he drove around in my 64 Austin Healey 3000. And yes I am getting old. Chronologically I'm 69, but mentally 16.

GJI – Dark Shadow Metallic (626D) Maybe a shade of pewter grey?
