I noted at Spring Mountain that all the cars were equipped with carbon ceramic brakes. In driving their cars on the track I did not notice ANY FADING of the brakes.
Wonder what it would cost to retro fit my 2017 Grand Sport to carbon ceramic brakes? I know it would be expensive as I have heard that each brake disc is around $3000, but wondering.
The rotors aren't that expensive (maybe dealer MSRP), you can get them for around $1,500/ea. You'd be looking at around $10,000 in parts only to do this upgrade with all brand new parts. You might find someone selling some in the for sale section though.

Just remember they hate "normal" driving and cool temps. My friend has a C6 ZR1 and you can hear him braking and he actually tracks the car once in a while.

6000 miles on my CC equipped Z06 and never a sound.
