Mine has front cameras and they really aren't that useful. Yeah, they work but once you know the car and are reasonably cautious when parking, not really a huge help. Not somethiuI would miss on the car.

OK thanks, I ended up buying a new GS with the LT 1, After having it for the short time the only thing I seem to 'miss' (after test driving a LT2) was the front cameras. I've never had them before, and LOVE the backup up camera in my Colorado Pickup. Again thanks
I thought I would miss not having the front cameras on my vert. With the poor visibility to the rear, I found I was getting stuck in parking slots, where I had to back out blindly until I could see if traffic was coming. I now back into slots if at all possible. The rear camera works for backing in and I can see better getting out. Win win.

I guess I should have mentioned that I love the backup camera on the Vette. I have noticed the color on it seems to be a little different than on my Colorado, (liking the Colorado better).
My wife and I rent a lot of cars around the country and the first one with a backup camera (a Ford SUV of some sort) at an airport in Florida, I was really impressed how EZ it was to back out of an underground garage parking spot and being able to 'SEE' way better than looking out the windows.
Getting back to my original post. The LT-2 with the front cameras were all right, but a little 'busy' with the two screens and a little hard to use. BUT after driving the car I bought and parking it a few times I thought OMG did I screw up because every time I parked I was not up far enough in the parking space! LOL!
I love the front camera's and use them everytime I drive the car. It takes away the stress of possibly damaging the front splitter. I think I saw something about an aftermarket add-on but I don't think it integrated as well as the one from the factory.

Man cant believe you are saying what you are on this. Just wait until you crack up the lower front end of your car.
I think the cameras are great. I found a faster way to activate the camera which makes it more useful. I keep my car on the lowered lift. I just use the side red lines to guide me in centering the car properly on the lift and works every time. Use the front marks to tell me when to stop on the lift.
Great tool Not a scratch on the front of the car.
The CURB ALERT would probably be a much easier and less expensive option. I had one on my C^ and it was great and an easy install.
My understanding of the curb alert is that it requires re-calibration quite often.
My video has been working flawlessly since the day it was installed and working. I use it quite often to avoid the curbs when parking front-in. It also is a bit of a fish eye lens and I get good peripheral vision when I've backed in a spot and start to pull out.

I've had to recalibrate mine once because I messed up the sensor positioning. That's in over two years.
A lot less expensive option than installing a camera system in a car that did not originally have them was my point.
Below is the forum link to how to install a WiFi Camera in your 1LT for about $75. Read through the complete thread and it lists where and what to buy as well as instructions on how to install it. I was one the the originators of the post and used mine for a year. It saved my front went many times. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-general-discussion/3828010-cheap-front-camera.html
Mounted the camera using 3M High Performance Double Stick Tape. Had to put in the left at the top of the grill because of the short leads.
Mounted the WiFi Unit on top of the Air Cleaner.
The Esky Camera is far superior to the other camera. It has all sorts of adjustments.
