Default X2

The names of those two new C7 paint colors for 2019 add intrigue to their unveiling.

Likely be more than two new colors with a complete new paint shop built---I would think at least ten additional colors.

I wish, but that's unlikely. GM is notoriously stingy when it comes to colors. One of the reasons may be because each color is used throughout the GM product line using different marketing names on each model. So when they approve a new color, it isn't just for the Corvette, which to GM is a low-production number car.

Yep. And sometimes with far differing prices, I may add.

That's not totally accurate. Some Corvette colors have been unique to the Corvette. Laguna Blue (or Blue My Mind Metallic, WA-135X) is an example. This has never been offered on any other car in GM's lineup. 2014 GM Color Guide. WA135X only appears for the Corvette. Same is true for other model years.

I would think we would see the two new shades of gray in spring.

Very true. I thought Sebring Orange was new and unique but is commonly known as High Impact. Even the build sheet lists it as High Impact. Check out the color code for Carbon Flash Metallic and you find that is common across other car brands with multiple paint codes non-GM as well.
