A Different Radar Detector Question






Many people are happy to use their cellphone for navigation or other en route functions, but I prefer the other way-
For the past ten years I've had the Valentine remote display mounted on my steering column, and love it:
Glance just below the speedometer to see the arrows & other info.
Arrows on the remote display will catch my attention if we have the top off (noise).
The remote display also blacks the face of the main V1, so nobody except me sees the display, especially at night.
I could use one of the many cellphone holders to hold it in my vision, like many people do. But I'm too lazy to put it on and off for every drive, and-
Just like a sidearm, I consider the cellphone to be an important piece of safety equipment.
Just like a sidearm, I want the cellphone to stay attached to my body unless in use for an emergency.
Understanding that not everyone feels that way.
