Current rebates on C7 are amazing.
1.) Will the huge rebates still be around in March 2018?
2.) Will the rebates be even better if the C8 is announced? Not being built, but just announced.
I am looking to trade my C5 in on a C7 grand sport in the next couple years.
Hard to tell what the future holds. Numbers produced, numbers left unsold, economic conditions, etc. I usually go by the "bird in hand" theory. But if you're not ready at this time to make a move, that's a different story.
To add more to the story, the C5 will be in storage until March. When that happens I may jump on a C7 if the rebates are ridiculous.
Best deals are probably right now. This is one of the best times of the year to buy imo. The first 2 months of the last quarter are up and down traditionally making the dealer more aggressive, the last of a good selection of outgoing inventory is available and the highest rebates are there.

And no telling what GM will do in the future in terms of rebates.
The longer you wait, the deals might be better but the selection may not have what you want either.
I wonder if it is worth waiting a year... the paint jobs may be better and hopefully by then, they'd have the A8 quirks worked out ? or do you think they've been worked out thru 17 ?
I want to see 25% and I'm in for trading my GS for a Z
Even if they have something equal to 25% that would still apply to your GS, so the value of your GS is less. Inventory is thinning out. I've been watching some dealers that carry 50-70 Vettes and they're down to almost nothing. The cars left over are not desirable colors or options.
