Purchased my 17 Z51 from Macmulkin last January. They even excepted my 2014 base 3lt on trade without even seeing the car in person. A few pictures and my commitment to them it was in perfect shape was all it took. Paperwork and delivery to my house went exactly as stated. This was the first time i bought a car that wasn’t local.

Can’t wait to do it again

And I'm another satisfied customer of MacMulkin. I had never bought a car from an out of my area dealer in my life (I'm 65) but you can't beat their pricing so I called. They are a joy to work with and my purchase was as easy as it get. They also arranged delivery of my car to South Carolina. If I had to do it over again, I'd use them, but I'd fly in and pick up the car myself so I could have started enjoying it that much sooner ... plus I could have met the wonderful staff face-to-face.

Default Great experience

My brother and I have ordered a GS, two Z06s and even a CTS-v. They were all flawless transactions. Best price, no doc fee, and they set up delivery to a chevy dealer in your area. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Tommy Jr has handled all of our transactions.

It's great to hear of so many good experiences, but mine has just taken a turn. In finalizing my order, the price went up by nearly $7,000, which the salesperson writes off as 'fat fingering' and an 'honest mistake' on his original quote (which was just an e-mail, so I probably can't hold them to it).

What are the ethics of going to a different salesperson at the same dealership?

MacMulkin? No regrets, and had it shipped via Intercity. Seamless transaction and delivery.

Doesn't sound right.
Call and ask for Tommy Jr., and explain your situation / what happened.
Make sure you talk with him.
He will be your best chance to find out what's up.
Good Luck

I would call and ask for Mark Makarewicz, the sales manager when I bought my car last March. He took over my sale after I gave up on a salesman who failed to answer emails, and all was fine after that. After I committed he had the same salesman send the VIN info to my insurance company, but he sent info for the wrong car, so double-check everything with any dealer, even the good ones. None are perfect.

AnalogMan, sorry for the fat fingering. Accidents happen sometimes, and it's happened to me a couple times when I've done example builds for customers.

We all work as a team in the Corvette Department, so you're more than welcome to work with any one of us that you choose: Mark, Jessy, KennyG, Tommy...

Thank you so much for the kudos everyone!

We really do work hard to provide our customers with the best possible buying experience that we can.

We're not just salesmen in the Corvette Department, we're Corvette owners and enthusiasts as well. We know that purchasing a Corvette can be an expensive decision as well as an emotional purchase.

As a result, we do everything we can to make the purchasing experience as, quick, easy and fun as possible. It doesn't matter if you're buying one of our Corvettes off our showroom floor, or placing an order.

We're to help you and get you behind the wheel of one of the best sports cars ever built!

I'm interested in ordering a new 2019 Grand Sport. It will almost certainly be a long-distance deal, since there aren't very many Chevy dealers around Portland Oregon. I've been talking with MacMulkin, have seen their ads here, and am wondering if anyone has bought a car from them long-distance, and what your experiences were like.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts anyone would care to share on their MacMulkin buying experience.

Thank you!

MacMulkin's sales manager took the initiative of reaching out to me (which I appreciate), said he would 'take great care of me' - and affirmed his salesperson's second, much higher price quote.

I guess the 50 positive comments on this thread vs my experience gives them about a 98% satisfaction rate, which nonetheless might be the best in the business. Perhaps that's a downside of dealing with a high-volume dealer, is that mistakes can happen, and one sale more or less is unimportant.

Oh well.... onto Criswell, maybe Les Stanford and Boardwalk, and to peruse the used car listings...

Thank you again everyone for your comments and experiences, I appreciate it!

I live only a few miles away from them so I can def pop in and check anything out if you need that done. But they have a great rep and you should have no issues
Was there yesterday in fact and saw the intercity truck loading up a Vette.

I have purchased 2 Vettes from MacMulkin. The first time was a 2010 Grand Sport. The whole transaction could not have been easier. In 2016 I purchased a C7 from MacMulkin. Again it was an easy transaction. I highly recommend them from a repeat customer.

It sounds like they made an honest mistake on the quote. Some of us have had experience with those other dealers too and I am betting it will be hard for them to beat the final price MacMulkin quoted, at least on a 2019. If you find something in stock that they want to move, that will make a difference.

Completed my purchase 20 days ago. MacMulkin is around 150 miles away from my home in NYC, up in Nashua, New Hampshire. Great communication over the phone and via email. Lots of New York area Corvette club folks purchase from them. You don't pay over the price they post on their website. That is, no hidden costs pop up at the last moment.

It was my first Vette, and Mark, Jessy and Kenny made it the best car purchase experience I've ever had. They picked me up at my Nashua hotel and drove me to the dealership. Helped coordinate the XPEL and ceramic coating. Explained lots of things about the car. Reached out to me after the sale.

My next Vette, whenever that is, will be from them.

Another satisfied long distance MacMulkin customer. I bought mine Nov 3 and shipped it through Intercity. Absolutely no additional fees were added (another forum vendor started adding a fee because they didn't want to work with my credit union). They made it really easy and worked seemlessly with my local credit union.
Shipping with Intercity was awesome
