Hi, I have a 2017 grand sport, 3K miles manual transmission running in tour mode, traction control on.
For the first time today, I noticed a delay in throttle response. I was idling at a light when I pump the throttle there is no response. I have to press and hold for a second or two before she revs.
Also, when driving if I put the clutch in and pump the throttle, the RPM, are very slow to not only go up, but also very slow to come down.
Any idea why this is happening all of a sudden?
CT, that doesn't sound right. I did get a ported throttle body. I've never had an issue with delayed response on my car, even before the ported throttle body. On a manual transmission, you'll have to get the RPM's up in order to drive a little. But a ported throttle body will give you intense power at about 3,000 to 3,500 RPM's.

Yes, I may consider that but I'd first like to see what's causing this, and get this issue taken care of first. Thanks for the response. I've asked a FB group, and many people have experienced it, and they said once you switch to sport mode it stops, but it's always run strong with no delay in Tour mode, so, when something changes, I need to know the reason why.
Or you could get the Vitesse throttle controller... It takes away that slow response.... I actually have mine on Economy mode LEVEL 2 (EC2) it still makes the response better but it gives a more linear pull from the engine, and way less "hunting" in normal street driving scenarios..
The sudden change the OP is describing isn't normal and he needs to get the underlying issue resolved under warranty before throwing aftermarket stuff at it. As Steven said get it to the dealer.
My rpm's hover for about 1/4 sec or so then drop to idle when i push in clutch coasting to a stop. I always put in track mode. Ill try in touring see what happens.

I'm with Casey. I run my GS almost exclusively in Sport. Added the Vitesse and it is the best $179 (outside of floor mats) that you can buy for this car.
If it just started it's obviously NOT the stock throttle-body. Has the problem continued? If not, has it recurred? If it has, can you get it to a dealership while it is acting up?

Yes it will be in, in the AM. I"ll post the turnout.
