Received the 'double length' set-up from Glenn. Looks like it will work out nicely for pulling onto a flatbed. Heavy hooks/straps, comes to about 9" of front and shouldn't encroach on any vital areas and straps even match my car color.

Thanks for the report and photos Kevin. Would this be safe to use if your car is being towed by a towing company or better to let them use their equipment?
I purchased 2 mini T hooks and a tow strap from Summit Racing. I keep them in my rear cubby in case the car needs to be towed onto a flat bed. Total cost was about $25.
Summit Racing website lists lots of different T hooks and tow straps. Which ones did you purchase? Descriptions/product links would be very helpful.
2014 don’t have the threaded receivers from the factory for the tow hooks mounted in the frame,2015 and newer Corvettes come with the receivers from the factory,
2016 Stingray Coupe did not come with threaded receivers either.

The only reason I looked into this was the horror stories I've heard about C7s being torn up due to towing companies trying to improvise because they didn't have the right equipment.
The "V" should work fine for pulling the C7 up on the roll-back, then the (4) "T-hooks" (shown @ bottom previous page) fine for tying it down using their chains/straps ratchets.
Hopefully, I will never have to use the set-up. However, I only have about $85 invested in it, so well worth the alternative to being broke down on side of the interstate and depending on whomever "Triple A" sends to have the appropriate equipment.
Your thoughts?

Does something need to be kept between the strap and the spoiler/fender to prevent damage to said spoiler/fender? I am assuming that some contact will be made by the strap and the underside of the car, and thus could cause damage while towing.
I bought T Hooks from Northern Tool, but didn't think about the V Strap. I also didn't consider that I would need four hooks to tie down. Looks like I may need to pickup this set from eBay if I can't find what I need at the local Summit Racing store.
Also, for those asking about the front/rear receiver, the base models don't come with them. I believe the z51/GS/Z06 all have them.

Same here, bought just 2 T-hooks [summit racing], but did not think this through completely with regard to the tie-down once on the flat bed. Will likely purchase the V-tow strap referenced above by Foosh [post #47] which comes with 2 T-hooks attached to the tow strap. Thanks Foosh for the referral.
