Just had the upgrade done and I am very happy with the results. Tour mode no longer has that rear end sway in it and the other modes are much more responsive and solid feeling. Really glad I did it. Cost $350 and the labor was picked up by GM.
What rear end sway? And did you let it sit 8 hours before driving it (as mentioned in the GM PDF)? My upgrade is scheduled.

You don't have to let it sit before driving it. The Temperature Compensation is separate and it doesn't matter when you let it sit, it will automatically adjust after the 8 or 9 hours after it sits.
Check the recent Ask Tadge post about the new Calibrations.

When driving in tour mode and hitting rough road the rear tends to move more than I would like. Car does not do that in sport or race mode. It doesn’t do it any more and yes the dealer said that the gm instructions were to let the car sit for 6 to 8 hours after the upgrade so they wanted to do it that way. Seemed harmless enough.
Im going to get it done. C7 z07 is a little rougher than stock so i wouldnt mind to make the ride a little more smoother. I currently always drive it in tour since sport is a little to rough so being able to click in sport more often would be nice.
Anyone else do this yet? Looking forward to a detailed documentation on the difference.
Yes, many have had it done so far.... just please read all the threads on it. In short, for me, it is very noticeable, and an excellent change. I'm very pleased with it.

I'm still trying to figure out what Temperature Compensation is and what it does...

Temperature Compensation is the GM Controller establishing what you might call a Zero point for the shock fluid temperature after it sits for those hours.
Reason being, the shock fluid viscosity changes as the temperature changes and in turn changes how the shocks react.
Once the controller has established the zero point, it compensates for temperature changes to the fluid viscosity to keep the shocks reacting the same during those changes.
