Does it have mag ride ? If not, the non mag ride version is a little on the firm side, which you may prefer.

Putting budget aside having had a C5, then a C6, then a C7 I would definitively get a C7. I didn’t think that there could be a meaningful improvement over the C6 but when I picked my C7 up at the museum and drove her home I was amazed at how big a difference there was in pretty much every way imaginable.

I am picking her up next week she is getting detailed now.

That looks like a Cyber Gray, 2014, Z51, 2LT, M7 with silver painted wheels. OUTSTANDING CHOICE!!!!
But then, I'm just a little bit biased.

Congratulations - awesome choice! I did same thing, buying a Z51 7M with 1300 miles. You are getting a brand new car at a used price. Enjoy - let us know what you think after putting some miles on! Cyber Gray is a gorgeous color.

I went for a visit and to finish signing the paperwork last night, she is all cleaned up and ready to drive. Tomorrow I am picking her up and driving to my work/storage.

One thing you'll appreciate, is the magnificent view out over the hood - the C7 hood from the inside reminds me so much of the C3!

White - my 2016 DD now
Blue - my '69 L46
Gray - was my 2012 DD

That is inreresting about the c3 had a 74 and loved it, only car regret selling and only car rode 10 years and sold for a lot more then bought.

How many used cars can we say sold for more then bought? never owned a 1963 but had chance to buy one before they became out of reach.

Never loved the C6 the way I loved C5s or how the C7 made me feel at reveal. FWIW I bought my 2014 Z51 with lots of options and 2LT for $39k. Car had 44k miles but was in very good condition. For the price of that GS C6 I'd buy, and did buy, a C7.
Edit - just read. Congrats!

Congrates on your choice. They are a great car, you'll see
Start thinking about paint protection. Many options with film, skirts, flaps, etc. These tires grab and fling all kinds of crap, not good for paint.
The Nose is a chip target too. Only film or ugly bra for that.ENJOY
