Hi, has anyone (dealers?) heard when you will be seeing Sebring orange rigs? I’ve read conflicting stories and I’m hoping someone out there knows something???
As far as I know, they haven't been seen on dealer lots yet. I have one on order that is scheduled to be built the week of 1/15/18. I'd expect to see the first ones in late Jan/early Feb.
To my knowledge, they were to start building Sebring Orange on the 2018 model year Vettes the week of Dec 11, 2017.
My Vette was built that same week {Dec 13rd) and I took delivery Dec 27th so I would bet there are a few SO cars built, but since orange is not a very popular color they are difficult to locate. I just checked the websites of the big 3 dealers on the east coast and none have a SO listed in stock. However it is possible that sold orders don't get listed on the websites. Also, the paint code for SO WA418C is not listed on the paintref.com website meaning GM is using this flavor on only Corvettes, unlike other Vette colors like LBR, WGG that go on the Impala, Malibu, Camaro, Silverado, etc. I did a nationwide search on autotrader and found nothing in SO.
Probably going to be awhile before they arrive on the west coast via choo choo. Good luck!
My GS has a TPW of 1.1.2018 ...hope they're not too hung-over ...the wait has been painful, ordered mid October within days went to event 3000, now at 3400 ...
They tend paint cars in color batches. That's why I think they are just now getting ready to paint Sebring Orange, now that they've compiled enough orders to do a bunch of them.
If you buy the Photo Album: http://www.corvettemuseum.org/visit/...s/photo-album/ then very likely they will front you that exact picture and a couple more as a "preview" of your book. The completed book arrives several weeks after delivery.

Photo books not available until 2019. Just like no factory tours until then either.
