Lol, you can say we like yellow. Our friends always give us crap about it, but at the end of the day it's OUR car so we get what WE like. On sporty cars I like yellow but wouldn't consider it on anything else. Yellow gets a ton of attention (good and bad) it's definitely a personal choice, but I can't say that I ever get tired of yellow.

Hi Dave
I've met you and purchased one of your C6's. DSOM. = Great car.
For me, Yellow is too far out there. It screams... "look at me".... Perfect for the race track.
What ever color you decide, add the transparent roof and black hood stinger stripe. The added black complements all the black accents that come with the car.
I just picked up my 2018 Blade silver Z06.

Best of luck.
Bob

I never EVER thought of owning a yellow car, really, Yellow... It had to be white, black, or red until I saw mine and they started offering me massive discounts.. It was completely stock 3LT Stingray, no tint, no black, just yellow everywhere..

I started looking at yellow and black pictures and fell in love..

I have it tinted, black spoiler and painting side skirts and a stripe from the front bumper to the rear window in Feb...

Once you own a yellow car you start seeing how boring all the other colors...

There is a warning that goes with owning one, Everyone see's you, and I mean EVERYONE including ALL Police but the flip side of this is you never lose you car in the parking lot

Color is a very personal thing. While it's good to ask for opinions, at the end of the day, it's your money. You're the one that has to live with your choice.

Since you asked, my only advice is to get what you want - go with your gut.

Personally, I love Corvettes in yellow. I wish there were more "bright" color choices.

Good Luck!

I've had my Yellow GS for almost 18 months .. I still smile every time I see it so I am definitely not sick of it and no regrets ... only other Color I like on a C7 is Blade Silver ...

Ditto. Immediately after washing and before I was able to dry, I'd have bugs all over the thing. They think it's a flower.

That was the only drawback, really. No worries about people not seeing you in traffic.

I like loud colors on a sports car. I don't know if I could ever buy a grey, white, or silver Corvette. (Of course those colors can be dressed up with the right stripes and hash marks and can really look awesome.)

Both my Corvette and my Camaro are red, and in both instances, I was also considering some variation of blue or orange. If I had my choice between Velocity Yellow and Corvette Racing Yellow, I would go with Velocity yellow. It seems to have a little more red mixed in for that slightly amber hue.

That said, I have always liked yellow on other people's cars. It's a nice color for a sports car, but not for MY sports car.

Thanks.
I've always loved a Corvette in yellow in the past, and I still do now. Unfortunately, my wife HATES yellow (and I wasn't going to listen to THAT the rest of my life), so when I got my 2014 Z51, I ordered it in white, which I love even more. I believe that the lighter colors, white and yellow, show off the car's lines much better (the darker colors tend to hide them by weaker shadow lines). If though I was alone, it would be a hard choice between white and yellow. If I got yellow, I would probably get some of the black Corvette racing markings which I think work very well on yellow.

This is a funny story. 35 years ago I had a black Z28 Camaro when I lived near the ocean in southern New Jersey. South Jersey have a killer bug called a "green head fly" that is aggressive, the size of a marble and loves black things. When I washed my black Camaro, I had to do it in long sleeves and a bee keeper's hat not to get eaten alive. This was in the south Jersey summer when the temperature was 100 degrees and the humidity was 99%. Never got a black car again.

Yes, go with your gut instinct. I decided that I would tire of it someday

I now own my fourth yellow Z. Guys in the Corvette Club always making fun of the color, but I like and that's all that matters. In a car club of 128 members --- we only have 4 members with yellow vettes.

My first vette was yellow. Now again. One of 42 cars made in 17 with yellow stitch interior.
Love the way the black and yellow contrast.
